The other day I got the dreaded "error 41" myself. Whatever!! I am unable to fix it. I'll ask that it not be a Brother MFC-5100c.

From everything I've read, I think I'll call Brother just to complain & then go buy a different make of fax so our business will not disrupted for long.

The other day I got the dreaded error41 and found this web site. It is usually on the back of the machine, on a grey sticker starting with the letter “U”. If your machine is out of warranty it's gonna cost you about $30 for the printhead and $80 for the repair... Actually we're located in Bartlett, TN.

I am a business owner planning to buy some printers, copiers next few months. It's more economical to purchase another machine.
