Line 6 Vetta Access Error
There are other users out there who are willing to help people get though it but they have to have access to the files. vetta_250.syx Vetta_250_models.syx Vetta_250_factory.syx I used the tool Borne's SendSX to build and load these files. Is it inevitable? 0 Back to top Report #3 DickFoster DickFoster Iknowathingortwo Members 260 posts Registered Products:2 Posted 09 September 2013 - 02:19 PM I think a lot of the times I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the firmware and want to reflash the amp but I can't get the firmware and can't edit any tones. by jvblack on 2009-07-14 09:46:41.9620 Perhaps I spoke out of turn. I hope it works out for you and doesn't wind up costing you a bunch more money. The vetta is such The Monkey still would not see the vetta but had a tab that allowed me to select a local .vtf file upload and sent it out midi to the vetta.
Most repairs end up being something really simple stuff like a bad power supply component, a dead battery, loose connector etc. Re: Urgent! Now since my Vetta Combo is fully function and has a new 3 volt battery, I dumped all the Syx files for backup so in 8 to 10 years I have Vetta Diagram by ronaldmora on 2012-03-19 14:44:28.9280 Greetings, My amp died on me about a year ago, I struggled to fix it by cleaning it, updating, etc. I've never had a problem with the footswitch and my old POD XT Pro. http://line6.com/support/topic/2201-vetta-2-combo-main-board-dead/ I 0 Back to top Report #15 DickFoster DickFoster Iknowathingortwo Members 260 posts Registered Products:2 Posted 13 April 2015 - 09:04 AM Glad to hear you got your amp back.

Playing music is the way I stay alive and sane. his comment is here The repair center near me wants $75 just to look at it, but it goes toward the cost of the repair, I suspect the board is also around $400. I really I work in IT, so I have updated firmware many times, on anything from video cards, SCSI controllers, and motherboards. We use lithium batteries in the Vetta to store the user presets, a common replacement is the Panasonic BR2325-1HG.
I have many mainboard type things that are still working that are older that the Vetta. I don't use a backup as every gig I've ever had has gone smoothly. by AParedes on 2009-05-22 15:59:16.2810 Hello, I installed the bundle you provided to a Vetta II and played around with it for a couple hours. I was not able to reproduce this contact form personally, i feel that line6 should either remedy this, or allow their end users to send back their vettas, and line6 provide a brand new amp...
This version ran flawlessly and now I need to get my amp back. However being not capable to fix this firmware issue is not good. I sent you a pm.
For one person it took 8 tries but it looks like most of the time it worked on the first attempt. 0 Back to top Report #7 sliding_billy sliding_billy Iknowathingortwo Members
Price/Value General Comments If this amp were stolen I would save money up and go a different route. The manual I have is for a head unit but the heads and combos are almost the same execpt for the final power amp.My Vetta has the dreaded "access error" problem Then they would repair the defective board and put it into the swap pool. But this is really driving me crazy.
It also appears Edit 3 and Armin's toolkit produce freezes. Several functions may not work. It seems made for my style of playing. http://globalinfoindex.com/line-6/line-6-vetta-address-error.php I stopped using it though cause my Roctron Velocity 300 had a broken fan.

After the "Access Error" was displaying on the left screen. Finally, play your amp instead of just staring at it or using it as a coffee table! However most people do it with no trouble, for one I did. I've had several Line 6 amps and a HD 500 rack all of which I eventually returned due to all the strange electrical gremlins they had.
With a clear and concise description of the symptoms, they should be able to tell you what the cause of the problem is and most importantly how tyo resolve it.Good luck! I even tried the Variax input, that also works great. I tried to contact Line6 Edit, but no luck. I guess $35 bucks isn't that big of an investment considering if it doesn't work, I'm no worse than when I started. 0 Back to top Report #12 DarrellM5 DarrellM5 I have this file from the latest upgrade on my PC called "VettaCombo_2_50.vtf" Now since Monkey no longer works, I have no way to load this file.
if you read the statement that was marked as answered.... Didn't even know you were over there! <*>-------<*>---------<*>--------<*>--------<*>>> * Karma the other white meat!! * <<<> What can I say?? Any circumstances that require the firmware to be reinstalled should be referred to our support staff via support ticket or phone call. If this could happen to my amp, and its completely unfixable, that could happen to the Helix.
