In other words, there's not really anything registering the HD500 gets you with a secondhand one. 1 "It is not our duty to understand the arbitrary, meaningless dictates of machines" - No problem with my internet connection and can log into my Line 6 account via Monkey but it's saying it can't connect to the server to check for updates?? Why?
I was advised by Line 6 to clear out everything in the Monkey folder on my Mac which did the trick!
Monkey will notrecognize it though. Typing from my Iphone as I'm leaving for vacation. I have seen similar issues like this where people have gotten a device repaired with a new board, and the new board isn't recognized in Monkey.
